Thanksgiving from the Heart: Donate today!

Tree of Hearts: December 13 - 21

Thanksgiving from the Heart is a Heartline program that provides a Thanksgiving
meal to a Woodford County family in need.  Last year’s program was limited to 20
baskets, but we would like to help more than 40 families this year…IF you can help
us!  Wouldn’t it be awesome if Thanksgiving meals could be provided for every
family in need?

Your generous donation of $25 will provide a Thanksgiving meal to a family in need.

Each Thanksgiving bag will include all the ingredients and recipes to make a
delicious meal for a family of four to six.

Thanksgiving bags will include:

15-20 lb. fresh turkey
Dressing
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Green Bean Casserole
Corn
Cranberry Sauce
Dinner Rolls
Pumpkin Pie

In 2010, Heartline’s most prominent program, Tree of Hearts, blessed 584
individuals from 164 families.  Heartline partners with The Salvation Army, The
Peoria Journal Star and countless private donors throughout Woodford County to
ensure that those in need have a blessed Christmas by providing gifts, stocking
stuffers, and food boxes.

Heartline uses this opportunity to honor the birth of our Savior and remind all
recipients of the true meaning of Christmas.  But this is not something we can
do by ourselves, we need YOUR help!!
